Sunrise, moonset

One of the things that I love about our new lifestyle is not having to set an alarm every day. Nick still does, but I much prefer to wake up more naturally and usually do around the same time now anyway. Twice this week, this plan has been disrupted by the sunrise or more to the point by Nick waking me up to go and see the sunrise. I can’t really blame him though, see for yourself.

We may no longer have a daily commute, but we do still have a working day of sorts. Mine usually begins with checking my emails at the kitchen table over a cup of tea. I can often still see the remnants of a sunrise like this through the kitchen window.

A lot of people think that working from home means shorter days, but we’re often still working well into the evening. Thankfully we’re usually done before the moon goes to bed!
